SPARTAN

INTRODUCTION
The Spartans were the most deadliest warriors of the ancient times. They were known for their strict laws and virtues.

THE SPARTAN LAW

  • At the age of 7 the boy was taken away from his mother as a form of male rights of passage.
  • The boy was punished so as to teach him not to show pain, nor mercy.
  • The boy was thrown into the wild alone to survive. This was a ritual of initiation.
